Family

Thus, we provide family therapy—a type of psychological counseling (psychotherapy). This type of psychotherapy helps them resolve family issues, concerning marital or financial problems, the conflict between parents and children, or the impact of substance abuse or mental illnesses on the entire family.

In this setting, family members and/or anyone who is able to participate will be gathered together and supervised by our psychotherapist. During the session, they will be taught with skills that will help them deepen their family connection and maintain a strong relationship even after they have done the sessions.

Moreover, family therapy can be used along with other types of mental health treatment. Using this type of psychotherapy, you and your family members will be more able to understand one another better and learn coping skills to help you build a stronger family relationship.

Group

This is another type of psychological therapy where you can experience being in a group of people who are facing the same obstacles as you do. Here, you’ll feel that there are people who understand you while receiving evidence-based psychological treatments tailored to address your specific issues.

What to expect

In our group therapy setting, there will be groups of mental health patients, supervised by one or more psychologists. These groups may be distinguished according to the different challenges each patient is going through and will receive the specific treatment. For instance, a group of mental health patients with social issues gathers. Then, our psychologist(s) will implement scientifically tested interventions to help them address their issues. These interventions may include activities or group counseling where everyone has the opportunity to share. This way, we’ll be able to help them improve their social skills and help them deal with a range of social issues, such as anger, shyness, loneliness, and low self-esteem.

Individual

This type of psychotherapy will be provided on a one-on-one basis between you and our therapist.

In this setting, our psychotherapist will converse with you in such a way that you feel safe and open to express yourself (feelings, thoughts, etc.) and will work with you in helping you resolve whatever issues you may have.

What to Expect

In an individual therapy session, our psychotherapist will provide a psychoanalytic treatment by exploring the organization of your personality and reorganizing it in a way that addresses deep-seated issues—to build rapport. In addition, our psychoanalysts will not inject their own opinion during the process; they will simply allow you to share your feelings.

Moreover, you can also expect that our psychotherapist will provide cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). In this type of therapy, you will be able to manage your fears by helping you gradually change the way you think and put things in the right perspective.

We promise that throughout the session, we will keep everything strictly confidential and will treat you with the utmost respect, dignity, and without prejudice.
